This can happen for several reasons, including when you upgrade and Windows or Office may change the name of your personal folder, I'm not sure just how you fix this in 2002, but in 2003 the easiest way to fix it is to delete all the links from your Outlook contacts folders to Outlook address books and recreate them. Go to Tools|E-mail accounts, select the "View or change existing directories or address books" button and click 'Next'. In the next window, click on the 'Change...' button. That will open a window listing all your Outlook address books. Remove them all and click 'Close' and 'Finish'.

To recreate the address books you want, go to the Outlook folder list, right-click on each folder you want as an Outlook address book and select Properties. Click on the 'Outlook Address Book' tab and check the 'Show this folder as an e-mail address book' box.

There should be a similar procedure you can follow in 2002.
