Print Preview Chops off part of table (XP)

Hi, does anyone know what would cause the following behavior?

In Word, i have a large landscape table. I have moved the margins to allow the table to fill the page. When i go into print preview it chops off the left hand part of the table, about a third. Its really strange. The same document on other peoples machines is fine with the print preview. I have looked through the settings but cannot seem to find any definate reason? Any thoughts? I'm probably just missing something simple.
    Thanks,

Is it to do with the minimum margins your printer can manage? Print Preview ought to display what would happen if the currently selected printer were used. You could test this by selecting a different printer and seeing if the result is different. (If you only have one printer, there is nothing to prevent you installing another one, even if you don't have it, to see what the effect would be.)

Be aware that injet printers have larger minimum margins (especially the bottom margin) then laser printers have. Inkjet printers are unable to print close to the bottom edge of the paper. Set you margins to "0" and let your printer correct the margins. This will show you your minimum margins.

If you search for older threads referring to the bottom third of the page, you might find some suggestions. It could be your printer driver.

One thing that comes to mind is whether the left part of the table is formatted as hidden. You can also check under Tools/Options/Compatibility & see if "Use printer metrics to lay out document is checked" (see if the opposite option has an effect). In the same dialog box, you will see a few other table options that you can adjust & see if it makes a difference.

Thanks guys! Will check their printer settings / drivers as I am sure that must be what it is.

I had to update the printer settings on the server and then the users were able to amen their settings on their machines, the 'resize to A4' option was not staying clicked before. it is working now though. Ta.
