    Deleting information in a field (2002)

    Hi,

    Is there a way to delete information in one field. I have a comment box on a form that I'd like to be emptied/cleared when a cmd button is clicked. I don't want to clear the entire row of data, just the one field/cell.

    Thanks,
    Leesha

    Private Sub Command2_Click()
    txtMyComment = vbNullChar
    DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdSaveRecord
    End Sub

    Set the value of the control to Null. That will clear out any value in it, and the change will be saved with the record.
