Two Calendars in Two Windows (Outlook 2003)

I open Outlook. I then select my bosses calendar to open in a new window. Now I have two windows open. I can look at my calendar in one window and my bosses calendar in the other window. If I minimize my bosses window (which shows his calendar), it is totally closing the window (doesn't show up in task bar)?? I have to go to my window again and access my bosses calendar again. Not sure when I minimize my bosses calendar window why is it closing it???

If you are running XP, could it be that you are grouping similar taskbar buttons, so that it has actually become part of the first Outlook 'group'?

Do you mean you have the option checked, or that you have checked it is not checked? <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>

If you have the option checked, try it unchecked.

I don't have a direct answer to your problem Don, but in Outlook 2003 if you use Open a Shared Calendar | Name (the source user first has to give you permission, and Outlook can be fussy about the name; you may need to use the mailbox name rather than the display name, e.g., 'bgboss' rather than 'boss, big grouchy', you can open them side by side, rather than in separate windows, just by placing a check mark in that user's calendar listing. I have my whole team set up this way.
