PDFMaker vs. Acrobat Distiller (2003 11.6113.5703)
I normally use the Acrobat Distiller printer driver to create PDF files from Word documents. I've noticed that the PDFMaker toolbar (in particular, the "Convert to Adobe PDF" button) has the advantage that it can transfer Word's cross-reference links (among other things) to the PDF file. However, PDFMaker doesn't (by default, anyway) generate a PDF rendition of the "Final with Markup" view. Conversely, the printer driver method does retain the mark-ups, but doesn't transfer the links (or, at least, I haven't figured out a way to do it).
Is there any way to get the best of both worlds: both the mark-ups and the cross-reference links into the PDF file?
