    Posting graphics/pics (Office XP)

How do you post graphic or pictures from your My Pictures into your emails in text not as an attachments?

Could you please give me step by step instructions? I don't understand your response. I am just learning. Thanks

Outlook can send e-mails in three different formats:
    - Plain Text
    - Rich Text (RTF, compatible with Word)
    - HTML
You can set the default format in the Mail Format tab of the Tools | Options... dialog.

You can also change the format of an e-mail message you already started composing by selecting Format | <desired format>, but you cannot switch directly from Richt Text to HTML or vice versa, so this option is not useful for messages with pictures.

In Plain Text format, you obviously cannot include pictures except as attachments.
In Rich Text format, you can insert a picture into an e-mail message by selecting Insert | Object..., clicking 'Create from File', then Browse...
In HTML format. you can insert a picture into an e-mail message by selecting Insert | Picture..., then clicking Browse...

Thank you Leif. Thank you Hans. It worked. Can I ask you another question along this line? When I open my pictures from the email area, it doesn't bring up all that is in my picture folder. Why? Is there a way I can get it to bring up everything? Thanks for your help.

In the Picture Open dialog window, change the "Files of Type" to All Files (*.*)
