    Decrease space after (2000 SP1a)

    Sometimes I need to adjust the "space after" setting a little in specific paragraphs to get the content to fit on one page. I want to write a macro to decrement space after by 1 point each time the macro is run. I can only see how to adjust it to a preset number of points.

    Is there a way of doing what I want please?

    Try this:

    Sub DecreaseSpaceAfter()
    On Error GoTo Exit_Sub
    Dim sngSpace As Single
    sngSpace = Selection.ParagraphFormat.SpaceAfter
    sngSpace = sngSpace - 1
    If sngSpace < 0 Then sngSpace = 0
    Selection.ParagraphFormat.SpaceAfter = sngSpace
    Exit_Sub:
    End Sub

    If you assign this macro to a toolbar button, you can click it repeatedly to decrease space after by 1 point at a time.

    Hans
    What part of the world are you in? The number of drinks I owe you is getting silly.
    Many thanks. It does exactly what I want.

    See my profile. A pint of bitter will do nicely, thank you. <img src=/S/cheers.gif border=0 alt=cheers width=30 height=16>
