    Case sensitivity

I have got to store a list of filenames. problem is they are from a Unix system, so that e.g. Page.html is different to page.html, which is different to PAGE.html. I wish to make the field concerned a primary key (no duplicates allowed). Is there any way of doing this?

    Regards

No. Jet is not case sensitive, although you can make particular Access modules case sensitive by using Option Compare Binary instead of Option Compare Database at the top of the module. The closest you can come is to create a new field that contains the ascii equivalent of the value and key on that as unique, since ascii does recognize the difference between upper and lower case characters.

Thanks for that, I thought it might be the case. I will have to think of another way to do it.
