There are a few ways, a simple way is to select "File>Import & Export..." and follow the instructions to export your favorites to a file (bookmark.htm). Copy this file to the new computer and then use "File>Import & Export..." to import the favorites.

Thanks for the prompt reply. When I do that I get a choice of favourites.I'd like to export all of them - do I have to export one folder at at a time or can I do it one go? Also, do I just import or do I need to save the file somewhere? Thanks.

When you export the favourites, with the list of folders on display click on the very top item (Favorites) and it will export all of the folders in one go to a file. The file by default is called bookmark.htm and will be stored in your My Documents folder. Copy this file to your new computer and when you run the import you select this file and it will copy all of your favourites to the new computer.

    Have you tried it?
I think you will find that if you select the top folder (Favorites) all sub-folders will also be saved.
They will saved in a simple "bookmark.htm" file which you can move, copy or open in another browser. To import, File > Import and Export... and select Import Favorites from the next window. Simply browse to where you have the copy and selectit.

Tony/Leif, thanks, that did the trick. Incidentally, is there a way of ordering the favourites alphabetically? Thanks.

Right click on one of your favourites and select "Sort by name"
