    Animation Looping (2003)

i am wondering if it is possible to loop an animation.
i have a custom animation which has each image fade in and out in sequence. I would like those 5 images to loop. So when the last image fades out, it goes back to the first image and go through the sequence again. I am not sure if there is a built in feature that allowed for this, or if there is some other suggestion as to what I can do.

    Any thoughts?

    Yes it is possible.
What you will do is repeat the slide 5 times, this will cause the animation on the slide to play 5 times.
To do this, use a Custom Show ( Slide Show, Custom Shows. Create a new Show, add all the slides in your presentation to the show and and add the slide you want to loop 5 times.
Then set the Slide Transition for the the slide so that the Slide advances automatically.
Finally, go to the Slide Show, Set Up Show menu and set the show to use the custom show you created.

If you have other things going on, on that slide, then you will have to build it as a series of slides.
    I have a sample here.

You can do a repeat until end, but if you're trying to loop a series of animated objects in order, there's not really an easy way.

I'd probably suggest that you look into custom shows. You can set your slide as its own custom show that loops until you move to another slide. http://www.echosvoice.com/animationfeatures.htm See if the FAQLoop file on my site helps at all for this.
