    Flipped images (XP to 2K)

    Hello,

A strange phenomenon is happening where I work: A user creates a presentation using pictures (station logos, etc.) that she copies from the internet. She is using Office 2K. When she sends the presentation to me, using PowerPoint XP, the images are flipped horizontally (mirrored; reversed). All of the flip/rotate options in the Draw command are unavailable on her machine. I can flip the image. When I did so and sent it back to her, the image was correct as well. So....

2K to XP - image reversed on XP machine but looks fine on 2K machine.
XP to 2K - image fine on both machines.

Also, this problem is sporadic. Any ideas at all????

    Echo,

Thanks ! I looked in Microsoft's technet and it is a known problem (I didn't believe there could be, so I came here first ! How could Microsoft put out the product without fixing something so basic (I know, I know, it's Microsoft we're talking about....but, as you see, I tend toward optimism...)), however, the solution they recommend does not seem as easy as the one you suggest.

    Regards,
