    Filter by Selection (2003)

    HI there,

I would like to create a button that will allow me to filter by selection. I know that there is a button on the toolbar that will allow me to do it, but I want to create a command button to filter by selection. Is this possible?

What exactly did you intend to filter and where? Did you want to filter the records in a form, and if so, based on what? Filter by selection assumes you have made a selection. Clicking on a command button makes another selection, so you're going to have to provide more details of what you want to do before you get any useful answers.

I wanted to be able to filter a field. I ended up creating a filter macro and assigning it to a command button. Sorry for the question being a little vague. Thanks for your help anyways
