    Explorer folder list refresh

The Folders list in Windows Explorer refreshes rapidly (every second or two) making it almost impossible to make folder/file selections beside making the eyes go a little crazy. Running XP SP1 boxes on a network with W2K and WinNT4 servers. I've tried turning off Indexing (drive properties) but that hasn't seemed to change anything. Not all network users are seeing the problem.
    I appreciate any suggestions.

That was exactly the problem observed. And the suggested fix appears to have solved the problem. Many thanks for the quick response.
