    Secondary axis (Excel 2003 SP1)

How do I add a secondary access to a bar chart/line chart.

    MS Help says:
Click the data series you want to plot along a secondary value axis.
On the Format menu, click Selected Data Series, and then click the Axis tab.
    Click Secondary axis.

However, when I click the format menu, I do NOT see Selected Data Series as a choice! File attached!
    TIA,
    gg

    gg,

Click a column on the bar chart to activate the series.
Clicking the second column of any pair of columns activates the second series.
    -0r-
I would just right-click the column and select Format Data Series | Axis (tab)

Thanks Jim... I understand what you are saying. But the 2 "small" values (see spreadsheet attached to my original post) are part of a series of values associated with a particular date. Do I have to restructure the data before creating the graph. If so, how?

    Many thanks,
    gg

    gg,

See the attachment for a primitive effort.
It was constructed by adding two dummy chart series.
I then added the data label using my "Chart Data Labels" add-in.

You can find out more than you ever wanted to know about customized charts at his web site...
