    Simple Synchronization Solutions?

I'm looking for 'simple' synchronization solutions for an Access database.

A small group of 4-5 people is building up and using a documentation database. Often we are in the same building, but sometimes one of us will be working at home or in the field and working with a local copy of the database.

Is there a simple way whereby the fieldworker can come into the office and say 'sychronize my file' (sychronization over the internet would also be nice). Does briefcase do this?

We are using Access97 but may be upgrading in the near future. I'm also prepared to look at entirely different products (eg Lotus notes).

I think you could try Replication; by all accounts it

Briefcase is a form of replication with the workstation, although it seems more prone to breakage than using replication manager. If you decide to try that, you'll need to download and read the white papers on replication that can be found on the Microsoft site. Then post your questions back here and someone can help you with the details.
