    Russian characters (access 97 sr2)

Help needed please on producing a report which is to include russian text as well as english text.
I have the russian text which I need to include, but when I paste it into a table, the characters are all changed to character placements i.e. ?
Anyone had to cope with this previously?

In Excel, the cells containing the characters all appear to cope with it no problemo and at this moment in time I am using Excel as a superior method to Access but the amount of data is growing and the reporting methods are becoming more demanding.

    TIA

Access 97 had limited support for Unicode. You will probably have to switch the system language to display cyrillic text correctly. It gets better in later versions of Access. Moreover, Office 2000 and up come with special Unicode fonts such as Arial Unicode MS.
