    marking mail as read

Using Outlook 2000 SR-1 at work. I do not want my mail to be marked "read" unless I physically open the message [don't mark it as read if I just look at it in the preview pane]. How and where do I set this up?

    Thanks in advance,
    Georgette

Many thanks... I knew the adjustment was probably simple. I just needed to know where to look!

I had a similar problem with Super Calc. I had been using excel for several years, and for nostalgic reasons (and possibly a bit of showing off) I fired up an old copy of Super Calc. I got on fine, until suddenly the cursor movement changed from its "Normal" movement (Cell to Cell) to "page" movement, (The whole screen block moves). This had happened to me in the past and I new there was a simple fix. I read the help file, which you may recall is excellent. But I couldn't find it! I wasted hours!!! Finally I discovered that I had the Scroll Lock on!
