Closing spreadsheet & returning to maximed databas (2000)

    Hello,

On exiting out of an office file (i.e .doc or .xls file) from within MS Access for some reason it does not return back to the maximised database but instead it reverts back to a minimised database.
Is there any way to resolve this issue so that when l exit out of the file in returns to a maximised database and not a minimised file as per the attachment.

    Justin.

Are you issuing a command to minimize Access when you activate the document? And are you using automation to open the document, or are you simply using the shell command? Also, what OS are you running? (That can affect application behavior.)

That still doesn't answer the question as to how the file is being opened. Is it with Automation, via a hyperlink, or using the shell command? Each is likely to give different results. Based on your prior <post#=373079>post 373079</post#> I presume you are using a hyperlink. Did Hans response and pointer to a solution not solve the problem?
