    Upgrade Exchange Server to 2003

Currently we are using MS Outlook Exchange Server 5.5 with Forms created in MS Outlook 98. What are some of the problems, issues that I can expect if we upgarde to Exhange Server 2003. Can I just migrate my forms to the new Organization library? What security features should I expect? What right do I need besides Admin. Right to post the forms in Organizations Library?

Re: Upgrade Exchange Server to 2003

Our migration from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003 is being done by our parent company in about 3 months. They use the Exchange as a Messaging system, where we it a lot different. We have created over 30 forms in our Ogranization Forms Library.

We have asked over and over if there are going to be any problems in moving our forms to the new Exchange. To this date we have gotten 0 replies on our questions. Can anybody give me an idea on where to look or get an answer to our questions?

I tried going to this link but I get lost in all the documentation run around there.

For the amount of forms that you use, it really isn't the sort of thing that you are likely to get a pat answer for. At least not a satisifying one.

It's really something that you are going to have to research and test yourself.

Re: Upgrade Exchange Server to 2003

Thats another problem that I have. The Exchange is being moved to our Parent company in another city. They don't allow anybody to "mess around" the exchange unless they are part of the conversion team overthere. The "Conversion Team" is a third party that was hired to merge and upgrade users/mailboxes. The Forms were never discussed and are not part of the schedule of things to do on the conversion.

Guess we just wait and see what happens. With luck no problems, otherwise, somebody will be very busy trying to rebuild them.
