I have users sporadically getting the text scrambled in Word. We have applied all service packs, checked for spyware and viruses, rebuilt normal.dot. Has anyone else seen this? Attached is a print screen.

It might be a glitch of the video card, escpecially if resources are low. Does this problem occur if they have a lot of applications open, or after a lot of heavy-duty editing?

It is actually happening to multiple users in two different locations. Different hardware. One is Win XP other is Win 2000. One is Outlook 03 with Word XP. Other is full Office XP. None of the same templates.
Sorry, I have never seen this myself. Maybe someone else has a bright idea.
It looks as though all letters are being treated as having zero width, so are being "printed" on top of one another. Bad printer driver? Corrupted fonts?
