Share or synchronize Contacts peer to peer...

I know there are a few posts referencing OsaSync already: http://www.vaita.com.

It stands repeating, because I finally had a need to use it for sharing a Contacts folder amongst a small business on a peer-to-peer network where the client did not otherwise want to upgrade to client-server and Exchange - WOW - what a terrific product!

Just had to give them a shout-out here on the Lounge.

We bought and tried this product for three months. It synched e-mail folders with no problems; however Contacts with dates of Birth - that appeared in Calendar - were dup/trip/quadlicated! Also sporadically happened with addresses too. Given up using it now as the removal of duplicated items was taking too much time.

Wow - thanks for the heads-up! Will look out for that issue specifically and report back if encountered/resolved/abandoned.

I've resolved a similar problem with a Palm - but can't remember how at the moment.

    Cheers,

    Van.
