    Access 97 Report Controls

    Hi

Is it possible to conditionally format a label or text box on a report so that the title of the report changes depending on another factor (e.g. Whether or not a control on a separate form is null or not).

I've tried to assign a value and I get a run time error 2448 ("You can't assign a value to this object"). Is there any way I can get around this?

    TIA

    Ade

To assign a value to a label on a report...

    1. The report must be open
    2. You set the Caption of the label equal to the desired value.

    Example Reports!rptReportName.lblLabelName.Caption = "Date Report"

You should be able to do this from the contrl that opens the report on the form where you have checked the value that controls the report label.

    Hope this helps.
