Windows Installer Coming Up Incessantly (Office 2000/Windows XP)
I recently installed Windows XP SP2 and probably a few other windows updates. Now it seems that whenever I activate an Excel window (by ALT+TAB or pressing the button on the task bar), the Windows Installer comes up saying I need my installation CD for some feature. It does this FOUR times every time I go to the window. It seems this also happened a few times when I opened a new e-mail.
I'm not trying to use any special features.
I recently misplaced my Office CD, otherwise I would use it. Any ideas why this is happening and what I can do about it?
