Search in Sub folder (X97-->)

    Hi All

    This is an extension to a project I am undertaking ( user changed their mind again).

    I had created an Excel application that allowed the user to find a specific folder on a shared drive. This folder contained a series of excel workbooks that were copied and then collated into a main reporting/consolidation workbook which summarised the contents of the other sheets in the folder.

    Due to the complexity of the various worksheets that are produced by the user and the way they are reported it is necessary for them to be seperated into 2 subfolders. Now I have seen this somewhere in the lounge but I can't find it ( or work it out) is to select a specific folder and let the code also find look inside a subfolder.

    Maybe the thread containing <post#=319305>post 319305</post#> might be of use?

    You can use Application.FileSearch to search for files in a folder and its subfolders. Type FileSearch into the Visual Basic Editor and press F1 to get online help.
