book recommendation? (Visual Studio .NET 2003)

I am an experienced VB 6.0, VBA, and ASP programmer and would like to develop my next Web Application using ASP.Net or VB.NET. We are using a SQL Server database that I need to have sELECT, INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE access to. My company just bought Visual Studio .NET 2003 and I'm finding the learning curve pretty daunting without any good books to refer to. Can anyone make a recommendation, please. Ideally (for me), the right book would cover developing .NET web applications that are integrated with SQL server.

Have you looked at Programming SQL Server 2000 with Visual Basic.Net, by Rick Dobson?

I haven't looked at anything yet, Charlotte. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll definitely have a look at it!
