    Export File to AS400 (2000)

I can import to Access from our AS400 using a ODBC driver. After some clean up on the file I want to export it back to a new file on the As400, but I am not having any luck.

Can you not import the cleaned up version from Access using AS400 of stead of trying to export to AS400 from Access?

If you are using an ODBC driver, you should be able to update the data in place on the AS400. ODBC usually lets you update linked table given that the integrity of the data can be established - translated that means you need to have a primary key on the table in the AS400.

The data on the AS400 is what needs to be cleaned up. I can import it from the AS400, and clean it up. I want to then put it back on the AS400. Or maybe I don't understand your question <img src=/S/catty.gif border=0 alt=catty width=19 height=18>

I admit that I do not know anything about AS400. What I suggested was that once you have used access to cleanse the data; of stead of attempting to export it back to AS400 from access, can you not 9using AS400), import it back into AS400 as a new table. (In other words, from the AS400 interface, import the cleansed data into AS400!)
