    Import Excel Data (Access)

    Was wondering if you know of a way to get excel data into an access database easily? What are the steps?

    The easiest way without using code is to create a named range of the data in excel.

    Then in access, from the main menu, select,

    File, Get External Data, Import
    -- File Type is Excel
    -- Double click on the file
    -- Select the named range radio button
    -- Select your named range
    -- Set the data (if you want)
    -- Press Finish

    The data will import into a table.
