    switchboards (97 sr2)

I have created a switchboard which has multiple switchboards in the switchboard item table. I am trying to us a popup which prompts for a date. This popup can be called from several of the cmd buttons on a switchboard, after you enter the date in the popup I want to be able to print a different report depending on the cmd button you clicked. How do you ID the cmd buttons on the switchboard? I think if I can do this I can send the cmd button on the popup anywhere I want it to go. Maybe I am way off base. If I am please tell me. Thanks for any help you might be able to give me. Let me know if I am not clear.

    Thanks in advance
    Cathy

You could put the date on the main switchboard then fire off the reports from the switchboard.

Another possibility is to open the reports from the switchboard in the customary way, and to have code in the On Open event of the report to pop up a form. See the Yearly Sales report in the Northwind sample database that comes with Access 97 for an example of how to do that.
