    Grouping (Access03)

I have a report with Names, Unit, Telephone #.
Some of the people have two telephone numbers. What I can't keep the report from repeating the unit when a person has two telephone numbers. I have tried grouping the unit. The problem is that if the next person works in the same unit as the person before the second person's unit isn't displayed. I want each person's unit to print regardless of the previous person's unit.

    Thank you. Fay

You could group by Name, and put the Unit in the name header.

The phone numbers would be displayed below the name and unit.

Another suggestion is to concatenate Name and Unit into a single field, then set the Hide Duplicates property of that control to Yes. You would not need any grouping this way.
