PDFMaker toolbar keeps coming back (9.0.6926 (SP 3))

I'm using Word 2000 on my XP system and have installed Acrobat 5.0. Annoyingly, the PDFMaker toolbar keeps reappearing each time I launch Word even though I close it before I end each Word session. Is there some way to keep it turned off or, better yet, to get rid of the toolbar altogether while keeping the other PDF-related functionality that Acrobat added to Word?

    Thanx in advance.

    Hi Bill:
See the threads surrounding <post#=331585>post 331585</post#> & <post#=393182>post 393182</post#>. You can also do a search for PDFMaker & toolbar to see if there are other solutions.
    Cheers,

You could also try the macros from Graham Mayor's website.

    Hi Klaus:
I learned something interesting from this. I always thought that add-in templates load in the order in which they were listed under Tools/Templates & add-ins... (in which global templates are at the top). I think I assumed that from How Word Resolves Conflicts. But you're saying that the exact opposite is true...they load from the bottom up, correct?

Yes, that's how I understand How Word Resolves Conflicts.
Templates further up the list have a "higher priority"... since they load later, changes they make can't be affected by templates further down the list.

It's probably what you'd expect intuitively anyway ("up" = "high priority").
