Lining Up Signature Information (Outlook 2003)

Is there a way to line up information in a signature. I've tried to line it up with spaces but it's not working and I don't know how to use a tab.

    Example
    John Doe
    Phone: 444-1111
    Fax: 444-1222

    Thanks.

Edit your post above using the Lounge's <!t>[pre]<!/t> and <!t>[/pre]<!/t> tags to show what you mean. To Insert a tab into a sig, use the keyboard tab key, but that may not yield what you want, because it can also depend on your message format, so you also need to tell us your default message format; plain text, rich text, or HTML.

    What format?

In Plain Text, you can use a tab, but since the recipient may be reading in a different font, the odds of perfect alignment are 50-50 at best.

In HTML, tabs are just compressed down to one or more spaces, so you have to insert nonbreaking spaces or use a table for alignment. (I guess you could use CSS, too, but I've never tried it. Hmmm, maybe I should.)

In RTF, I really don't know.
