    IF Function (Excel 2000)

I have values in A1 thru G1. In H1 I want to write an if statement that checks each cell. If the cells value is greater than 25%, then I want it to return a "true". Thank you.

=A2>.25 will do that. Assuming contents in cell A2.

Close, but I want it to check the whole range a1 thru G1, without nameing the range. Something like If(((A1:G1)>.25),"True", "False") My statement is wrong because the code want to sum the range and I want it to check each cell individually.

    How about =IF(MAX(A1:G1)>0.25,"True","False")
