    Outlook 2000: Undisclosed reciepent list

I read this somewhere but I am unable to locate how to do this again. I would like to create, an undisclosed receipent list in my personal address book. How would I go about doing this. I have browsed through Technet but couldn't find anything on this. I am running Outlook 2000, SR1 on Windows 2000 SR1.

    Thanks for any help! <img src=/S/catty.gif border=0 alt=catty width=19 height=18>

Using bcc might work but don't you need to only put one person on bcc line or else ALL on bcc line will see every name ????

IF my assumption is correct, how can you output multiple E-Mails automatically using one person per bcc ? Or, do you need a macro to do this ?

    Any help would be appreciated.

If you are bcced, you don't know who else is bcced. I send a list out every other week to almost 100 bcced recipients -In a received message, no names are shown in the header except for those in the To and CC fields.

Test it yourself with a couple of friends. BCC a test message to a few friends and have them forward you what they receive.

no, on the bcc no one sees the other names - blind carbon copies. if oyu use the cc or to fields, they will see the other names.

Wierd. I thought I sent this yesterday. What I want to do is to have the list name Undisclosed Recipients show up in the To line of a message. I don't want anyone to know who else I'm sending the messge to and I want them to know that they don't know it.

with outlook, the best you can do is: create a contact named undisclosed recipients and add your email to it. use it for the to line. (most people just use thir own name and address)

add everyone else to the bcc line.
