Inserting a PDF or Word Document (2000 SR-1)

I haven't had to work with PowerPoint in so long I can't remember. Is there a way to insert a PDF or Word Document so that the documents can be viewed during the presentation? Need all the help I can get as quick as possible. Thanks!

If you insert a Word object, you'll see only (part of) the first page. It's probably best to insert hyperlinks into a text box. A PDF file will open in Adobe Viewer, and a Word document in Word.

http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00054.htm will give you a number of options for PDF into PPT.
