    count (2k)

    hello ;
    i have a table contain 2 feald sex and escort sex= female or male , escort = yes or no , i want to count male and escort = yes also count male and escort=no

    Are you looking for separate counts, one for male and escort and one for male and no escort? Are you trying to do this in a query or code?

    Create a query based on your table.
    Select View | Totals to change the query into a totals query.
    Add the Sex field, and specify Male in the criteria row, to select only the records for male persons.
    Change the Total option for this column to Where.
    Add the Escort field. Leave the Total option as it is (Group By).
    Add any field, and change the Total option to Count.
    Switch to datasheet view to see the result.
