Sent property

I'm sending an email message from Word using MAPI and I want a littel error checking to make sure the the message was sent. The sending works fine.

When I utilize the objMessage.Sent property (right after the .send method), I get "Item has been moved or deleted."

I'm doing something wrong. Who knows what it is??

once it's sent, it is moved or gone from where it was before, so the error you are getting is correct when the send worked. i'd probably trap the error and have it report the send worked. if the object did not send, it should still be present, so you'd get a different error.

Thanks, Mary. I never think like class objects look.
