    Creating shared toolbars (2000)

I'm new to using VBA in Powerpoint. I just wanted everyone to be able to share macros with a toolbar. There seems to be no entry point when PowerPoints starts up so I thought I'd create an Add-In (.ppa) with a toolbar.

Two problems - one the toolbar isn't associated with the Addin (cf Word). Okay, we can work around that - people can build their own - but the macros are not available even with the addin loaded. What can I do to make it work? <img src=/S/hairout.gif border=0 alt=hairout width=31 height=23>

You can create an Auto_Open macro in the add-in. See The PowerPoint FAQ, in particular the section "Creating and Installing Add-ins, Toolbars, Buttons", for example Create an ADD-IN with TOOLBARS that run macros.

Great - just what I needed.
