This Assignment Has Been Edited (2000)

I have several people working on a schedule. When I go to the "Task Usage" view, in the information column, I see the message "This assignment has been edited." I am trying to find out how to see who edited it and what was edited, but have been unsuccessful. Any ideas? Thanks!!!

Re: This Assignment Has Been Edited (2000)

As I remember, Project, unlike Access, can not control who is making changes by having people login, controlling rights, etc. Security wise, you could make the project read only to prevent edits but that is not the problem. Perhaps project central can do what you want but I don't remember any way to get what you want.

The only workaround, perhaps, would be to store changes based on the network ID but again, projects table structure (at least in 2000) doesn't support tracking this data. (At least I never saw it.)

Sorry, I don't think you can do what you want in Project 2000. I will post back if I find an alternate solution.
    Regards,
