    Basic installation (XP-2)

Still struggling with basic installation issues. I am the only one with Administrator rights - the kids are limited. I want to install their favorite software programs via Administrator, but allow each kid to use the program under their log-in. I've attempted to install several software packages via administrator but the kids are still unable to gain access - they are blocked because the kids don't have administrator rights, yet the software was installed under their user folder?

Similarly, and more importantly, how do I get rid of the AOL sign-in for instant messaging from my log-in?

Thanks for any help, and Happy Thanksgiving Day!

Simple. Got to Start>All Programs>Startup and right click on the little yellow man from AOL and select Delete and he will walk right out of your log-in, never to return (that is, until someone, anyone else on the computer actually, upgrades AOL's IM client again <img src=/S/evilgrin.gif border=0 alt=evilgrin width=15 height=15>).
