    Hi Braddy.

Try to register this dll again.

    Go to start>run, type "regsvr32 urlmon.dll"
( without the quotes and a space between 32 and urlmon ) click OK

Regarding the above, if you are experimenting with new software such as Mozilla, Firefox, OpenOffice.org, or other software that could potential "replace" Microsoft software as the default, tell the installer, during the intial installation, NOT to take over those duties. You always can have it "take over" later, but until you're sure, just say "no."

    Hi Jscher

Thanks for the information it should be usef ull for anyone else trying the same . its too late for me (or is it?), my problem arose when I unistalled Firefox to get back to the status quo I re-installed firefox but did not get the options you mentioned as it was already in the registry I presume. Is it possible to edit the registry so that I can remove firefox again.

    Thanks

It's probably safer to perform a system restore to just before you installed firefox.

That is what happened to me when I tried out "Open Office", but did things to MOST of my programs and it was a real mess.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
