    Setting the default font

I am using word 2000 as my email editor and have reset the default font in word to ComicSans and a 12 pt font size.
When I am composing a new message the font is Arial with a 10pt size. I set it back to ComicSans and try to set this as the default but it won't retain the settings.
    Any help for me??
    Thanks.

    Re: Setting the default font

Changes to the font for new E-mails need to be done through Tools/Options/General tab. Click E-mail options, the the Personal Stationery tab. Then you can change the fonts used for new messages and forwarding/replying messages.

Thanks for the quick response with the information.
    That did the trick.
