There is a feature in Word called Mail Merge; you can use it to fill in fields in a Word document based on data from a table or query in an Access database. You can start the mail merge from Access if you like: Tools | Office Links | Merge it with MS Word.

You can use Automation to control Word from Access. My fellow moderator <!profile=WendellB>WendellB<!/profile> has a short tutorial on Automation with many useful links on his website - see Automation 101.
