    Multi boot use (2003/2000)

I have a multiboot system, one running Win2k and Office 2k, the other Windows XP and Office 2003. Can I have both Outlooks (obviously 2000 on one and 2003 on the other) use the same PST file

    Re: Multi boot use (2003/2000)

If your XP boot were running Outlook 2002/XP. I would say: go ahead - no worries. As you may know, however, the internal PST format changed with Outlook 2003. This means firstly that any shared PST should have been created with Outlook 2000. There is also a technical risk that 2003 may inadvertently corrupt the file as it would be not be "converting" the existing file by dint of regular use. Thi technical risk may be remote, but I would suggest very regular backups - daily? - if you want to be regularly processing mail on both boots. HTH
