    ZA IM Filtering Policy Editor

I just discovered the above editor. There are two tabs, Whitlist and Blacklist. All files end with .exe. On each tab there are executibles that are not on my computer.

My question is: Should I remove the ones I don't have or leave well enough alone?

    If it ain't broke.............

I'd bet that those are the program defaults and should be left alone. If you want to run a little check on them, then make a list and after your next update, go back to the list and see if anything has changed. Bu if they're not causing any trouble and they seem to be part of ZA, then it's probably best to leave them be and watch them if they make you nervous. Good advice that I should have learned when using Windows 98 SE. I was always dibbling & dabbling where I didn't belong. Reformat was the result .

The blacklist items are ones you don't *want* on your computer, so leave them alone. The whitelist are allowable executables which may be there sometime in the future, so leave them alone. <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

Thank you Doc and Charlotte. I'm going to leave well enough alone. As the old saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
