When opening Excel for the first time I get the attached disk error dialog box. I've just noticed I get it in Outlook as well when I try to open the first email. Any ideas on what tht issue is?
Thanks in advance!

Could Excel and Outlook be asking for the Office CD? You might try inserting it.
Once Excel has started, take a look at the list of most recently used files in the File menu. Is there a file with the path mentioned in the error message? If so, that may cause the error - Excel trying to check this file.
Also check your add-ins. Perhaps there is a problem in one of the add-ins; you can find out by temporarily disabling all ad-ins.
