    creating parrallel tables

I suppose this is a job for IFRAMES but I am *very* inexperienced in them... What I want to do is set up a small table on a page that will sit the left of another table.

    Any ideas?

    TIA

    Re: creating parrallel tables

The old way is to nest both tables into a bigger table.

The new way is to create a DIV for each and use CSS to float the first DIV to the left of the second. I don't think I've done that myself, but it is covered in a book I read recently. The author's site is: http://www.simplebits.com/. Hopefully he has some tips there or at least links to other good sites. I think someone posted an article on this board a while back about using CSS instead of tables, from http://www.alistapart.com/; hopefully that will pop up in a search.
