    Save as HTML

I am trying to take a chart that has been made in excel and do a save as html. I can do this manually by clicking on file, save as html and that is fine. However, we would like to automate this process, is this possible? We have tried a macro and that didn't work and I have also tried something like sheet114.saveas and then the filename, it appears that the HTML format is not accepted, is this true? Am I missing something here, is it possible to do this or not? Thanks for any help you all may have.

    Try

    sheet114.SaveAs "filename.html",xlHTML

    That should do it

    Re: Save as HTML

I think that a chart can on only be saved as a picture (gif).

I hope that I am wrong- I would LOVE to have a chart saved just the same in HTML as in HTML- so that highlighting a line wil show values, etc.

As to saving, as a gif, if that's of interest, I'll post tomorrow, unless someone else can post first.
