Format Read vs Not Read (2000)

How do I format Outlook so that the "From, Date, Subject, etc." line is bold before I read the accompanying message, but changes to regular font (i. e., not bold) after I read it?
    Thanks.

To change the way read messages are displayed:
    - Select View | Current View | Customize Current View...
    - Click Other Settings...
    - Click Font in the Rows section.
    - Specify the font and font style to be used.

To change the way unread messages are displayed:
    - Select View | Current View | Customize Current View...
    - Click Automatic Formatting...
    - Select 'Unread messages'.
    - Make sure its check box is ticked
    - Click Font...
    - Specify the font and style to be used.

If you display the Preview pane in your Inbox:
    - Select Tools | Options...
    - Activate the Other tab.
    - Click Preview Pane...
    - Tick or clear the 'Mark messages as read in preview window' check box according to your preference.
