Windows Explorer sometimes goes to FULL SCREEN (XP SP2)

On my Windows explorer sometimes my screens go to full screens instead of staying at maximized setting. Seems like i am always hitting F11 to toggle. I have tried making all the views the same ie copying the settings throughout but does not help. Will spontaneously go to full screen, at random. Happens on IE6 and no good answer tried reinstalling and no help
Any one else seen this behaviour

Is this one Windows Explorer or Internet Explorer? If it is IE, can you post some links?

Just to prevent duplicate/diverging threads - is this the same issue as in <post#=432913>post 432913</post#>?

    high Leif:
It is now happening in BOTH Windows Explorer though less frequently, AND in INTERNET explorer. Since we don't have a cause I don't know if it the "same" issue.
And it fits into both categories of yoiur index. So whatever you think is appropriate

It is now happening in BOTH Windows Explorer though less frequently, AND in INTERNET explorer. It happens spontaneously and randomly on folders and / or web pages So not certain I understand about posting the links.
I have tried reinstalling IE, tried lavasoft spyware to get rid of any spyware. Nothing seems to work. But it does seem to be getting a little beter on 3 times an hr now.

Does it always happen on the same sites? Can you post links to the sites that cause the issus? Or does it happen when you run the same programs together?

    Joe:
As lame as it sounds, I cannot find any pattern to it. Just appears random, not site related. not program combination related. Like having a tooth cavity, just intermittent pain.

Are you using any particular peripheral hardware when the problems occur? Have you updated anything recently? Are you keyboard drivers up-to-date?

Nothing new except a new computer and I transferred by documents and settings folder from my old computer but reinstalled all programs with clean registery settings. And I cannot live without my documents and settings folders.
