    Controlling Scroll Wheel (Access 97)

    Hi.

Does anyone know if it possible to control the behaviour of the mouse scroll wheel from within Access?

A delegate of mine has a form which is about two screenfulls. He would like his users to be able to show the rest of the form using the mouse wheel, instead of which, the wheel scrolls through the records.

    Any ideas?

    Tony.

I only know of tools that let you turn the mouse wheel on and off. For example, Stephen Lebans has a free download at MouseWheelOnOff.

Except in continuous forms, I don't like scrolling in forms. If I need to present a lot of information, I prefer to use a tab control. The tab pages can hold logically related data, and provide an easy to use interface.

    Hans:

Thanks for the link; I've passed it on.

I agree with you about tabbed forms, but that is the way he wants to do it!

    Tony.
